Yasmin Napper, who holds a degree in psychology, has just been crowned Miss England 2023. The advocate for underrepresented groups and the fight against period poverty will now represent England at Miss World in May. Napper is the first woman from Sheffield to win the title since 1961.

Napper competed against 40 other women in the competition and was crowned the winner by Bhasha Mukherjee, Miss England 2019, at the Pageant's grand final in Milton Keynes on October 17, 2022.
